Do I make any money during the first 90 days? YES, Affiliates make 100% of the revenue from referred patients for dental implants or more difficult cases that get rejected by Renew.
If I don’t complete 12 cases in the 90-days, do I owe Renew money? NO, you can do 10 cases in the 90-days and still be in the program.
Do I still have to do the 90 days if I complete 12 cases in 30 days? NO, as soon as you complete 12 cases you are officially in the program and can begin getting paid for your work.
How long is the agreement? It is a three-year term that automatically renews.
Do I have to pay again after the three-year term is up? No, your membership fee was a one-time cost.
Are there any ongoing costs? No, Renew pays for almost everything. They don’t pay for your rent or personnel.
What if I don’t have a CBCT machine? You would not qualify for the program.
Who covers the lab and implant costs? Renew has you covered.
Can I use any lab and implant system? Not for the Renew procedures. You must you AvaDent (AvaDent.com), Implant logistics and Zest Dental.
Can I use the Renew financing for other procedures in my practice? Unfortunately, the financing is only for Renew Procedures.
What is the lowest FICO score that the financing will accept? 550 FICO at 15% interest.
How big is my territory and is it protected? The answer is yes, it’s protected, and the size of your territory will vary slightly depending on the market you are in. We do our best to maintain a minimum 25-minute drive time.
How much do I make on each patient? Depends on the procedure but anywhere from $4K to $7K per patient.
Is the education consultant working from my office full-time? Yes, four days a week. You will need to provide a consult room for them.
Can I convert a patient who accepts treatment for Renew to my private practice for a full mouth restoration? We don’t encourage this, but the answer is yes, you would be required to pay a $7,000 marketing fee to Renew if this happens.
How many Renew procedures should I expect each month? Our goal with every office is to do 2 per week but that can vary plus or minus depending on the market, economy, weather and other extenuating circumstances.
How many single implant procedures for my private practice can I expect each month? A little more difficult to calculate because the marketing is geared toward full-arch restorations. We have seen practices get an additional 200 single implants in just one year. A more realistic goal might be 50 to 100 implants annually.
I’ve placed over 20,000 implants do I really need to go through the training? Everyone must complete the training in Mexico. You will place roughly 60 to 80 implants during the training, you will learn the order process and unique workflow. Everyone that has attended has been impressed with the course plus you get 40 hours of CE.
When do I get paid? Part of the fee is paid after a comprehensive prosthetic exam is completed and the balance is paid on a quarterly basis.
Do I pay for any of the ongoing marketing costs? No that is all covered by Renew.
What kind of advertising does Renew provide? A full spectrum of direct-to-consumer advertising including national and local television, paid digital, social media, SMS, AI lead nurture, and email marketing.
I have some large known implant centers near me can I still be in the program? Of course we thrive with that kind of competition, with our advertising second opinions are a frequent occurrence. We have a great solution for less money that’s a recipe for success.
How many practices are you brining into the program? 200 practices across the USA.
Can a Periodontist or Oral Surgeon join? Of course, but they will have to do both the surgery and restoration to be a member.
What is the cost to join? You pay a one-time setup fee of $85,000 which can be financed for as low as $600 per month.
Are there any other cost components to the membership? There are no other hard costs to the program that you will be responsible for to become a member. You have a 90-day probationary period where you work with Renew and Renew captures all the revenue for the first 12 procedures or the first 90-days, whatever comes first.
The population in my town is only 60,000 can I be in the program? Every market is different, we complete a deep dive using the Buxton platform to determine market viability. One of our most successful offices has a similar population but he draws from a 2-hour radius from the surrounding market. To find out if you qualify complete the online form on the home page.
Can I continue to offer full-arch dentistry in my private practice? Of course, you can, but you won’t have access to the Renew financing.
Do I have to do my own design work? Renew does all the surgical planning, bone reduction guide and prosthetic design for you.
Do patients get medical clearance for this procedure? Yes, we have a full-time medical doctor who provides patient clearance within 24 to 72 hours. This is done to protect the patient and to protect your license.
Who does maintenance on these patients? You would do all the follow-up and cleanings.
How does the lifetime warranty work? To get the lifetime warranty the patient must pay all their bills on time (if they financed) and they must get their implants and teeth cleaned twice a year. The patient is eligible to replace their teeth after 5 years for the fixed-removable the cost is $1,000 every 5 years.
What if we want to get rid of the education consultant (EC)? This has not happened yet but Renew would replace the EC in your office if necessary.
How much space does the EC need? Roughly a 10’X10’ room.
Does Renew connect into my WiFi? Renew sets up their own WiFi separate from yours.
How does the Renew Oral Maxillofacial Radiologist capture the patient’s images? Renew connects into your CBCT machine and provides you with a button on your CBCT to choose if you are taking a CBCT for your private practice or for Renew. If your team selects number two for Renew the images go direct to the OMFR and they provide a general diagnosis back to the Education Consultant within 10 minutes.
Who provides medical clearance? The Renew EC captures the necessary data for each patient and provides this to the Renew network of MDs. They provide medical clearance usually within 24 to 72 hours.
Once I pay my membership fee how long does it take to launch the program in my office? Typically it takes 60 days to get you up and running. You have to complete the training, Renew has to recruit and train and EC for your office. They begin the digital marketing 30 days before launch and television 2 weeks before launch.
When does the 90 day buy-in period begin? The clock begins when you complete your first comprehensive exam.
Who pays for all the surgical supplies, implants, guides, anesthesia, and prosthetics? Renew provides an allowance to each affiliate by procedure. Renew pays some of the vendors direct but the bottom line is all costs are covered by Renew.
Can I lose my membership? Yes, you can be removed from the program for "PracticeCause" with 90 days' prior written notice. Practice Cause includes:
Before termination, you will be given 30 days to fix the issue, if possible, except for serious violations such as fraud, criminal acts, or legal violations.
What if any financial responsibilities do I have? Practice is solely responsible for all direct and indirect costs and expenses associated with professional care including, without limitation: Practice location expenses such as rent, utilities and common-area maintenance charges. The Cone-beam computed tomography systems (CBCT) machine and all upgrades. Furniture, fixtures, equipment, inventory and supplies, recruitment and retaining of dentists and supporting staff, credentialing of dentists, regulatory compliance, clinical services at each Practice location, clinical protocols, quality and clinical aspects of laboratory services, operatories, patient intake, case management/care coordination for patients.
Does Renew provide any of the dental services? Renew shall have and exercise absolutely no control or supervision over the provision of dental services and other clinical services related to the program.
Does Renew take ownership in my practice? No Renew takes no ownership or interest in any of the affiliate practices.
Do I receive any medical equipment for the program? Renew provides the Practice with an approved EKG Machine, Pulse Oximeter, Medit Scanner and Crash Cart as well as requisite computer equipment.
Who collects the patient fees? Renew shall provide accounting and collection services.
Can an affiliate terminate the agreement? Yes, for any reason within ninety (90) days of the First Patient Start upon written notice to Renew. If the Agreement is terminated by the Practice the Set-Up fee shall not be refunded to the Practice.
Is the Affiliate program a partnership? No, The Practice and Renew are not joint venturers, partners, employees, or agents of each other. No partnership of any kind is intended to be created pursuant to the Affiliate agreement.
Does Renew provide my office with in-house marketing materials? Yes, Renew shall produce and provide to the Practice educational videos, physical denture/mouth molds and models, brochures and promotional videos for patients and staff.
